JJ Florence wins the Haleiwa Challenger

Victoria de JJ Florence en el Haleiwa Challenger

The incredible final performance of the two-time world champion has seen him take victory in the Haleiwa Challenger 2021.

Haleiwa was not what one expected. They had already warned him from the organization. The passage of the storm, the strong winds and the big waves had left the peak a small mess.

Even so, great performances could be seen, among them those of Jack Robinson, Zeke Lau, Samuel Pupo, Kano Igarashi, and of course, John John Florence.

The Hawaiian was the best, and he fairly took the championship, completely forgetting that succession of injuries and bad luck.

Florence won and now we all wonder if his knee will hold up next season, because if he does, there will be a show.

By the way, the last two places in the CT have been taken by the Costa Rican Carlos Muñoz and Joao «Chumbino» Chianca. "Chumbino" is the little brother of Lucas "Chumbo" Chianca, the most famous big wave surfer in all of Brazil.
